While this blog typically focuses on the unfair and unjust case we are currently navigating, today I want to press pause. I want to take a second to step back, look at the bigger picture, and remember exactly who we are and what we stand for.
Regardless of the legal battles we discuss here, we are patriots first. Our love for our country and our conservative roots isn’t just passing phases; they are etched into our DNA forever. We are profoundly grateful to be Americans and today is about honoring that privilege.
Part of being a patriot is remembering our history and facing the realities of the world. We must never forget the 52 American hostages who were kidnapped and held captive in the US Embassy for 444 days in 1979 by the Iranian regime. That dark chapter was a stark introduction to a regime that has spent decades sponsoring terrorism around the globe.
Because of that enduring threat, we are incredibly thankful to have a leader who truly understands the timeless doctrine of peace through strength. For decades, the world watched as Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, directed terror and chaos without consequence.
But we are proud to have President Donald J. Trump in office—a president who is finally willing to stand up to tyranny and rid the world of those who wish to do us harm. By taking unapologetic, decisive action in the recent strike that eliminated Khamenei once and for all, President Trump has made America—and the world—a much safer place.
Of course, that safety is secured by the men and women in uniform. Every single day, we pray for the safety of our troops. They are, without a doubt, the most courageous, bravest, and most lethal fighting machine the world has ever seen. It is their unmatched skill and sacrifice that allows us to live free.
We stand strong in our values, we are proud that Donald J. Trump is our president, and above all, we are so incredibly proud to be Americans.
